If I try to select features of more than one layer at the same time only the features of the layer that is shown at the top of the legend get selected.
If I want to avoid the selection of certain features I have to make the layer invisible. This way one cannot say, I want to select all features of one layer that lay inside a certain area of another layer without selecting that area too.
I wrote a plugin for my own program which is able to select features by a user drawn form. It has a DockablePanel like the legend where one can define which layers can be selected. (See picture)
Would it be possible to do this for the selection tool too?

Allow LegendItem.IsExpandable to be saved to dspx so user doesn't have to re-fold legend after loading the project if it was folded on saving.
