I have looked everywhere and I cannot find the Ribbon that relies on Dotspatial.Controls version 1.5.0.0 and Dotspatial.Data version 1.5.0.0. The one I have now still depends on versions 0.11.9.6. Is there a place I can download the source code for Dotspatial.Plugins.Ribbon so that I can update this?

However, it go down to a bug. The bug is in "(DotSpatial.Plugins.MapWindowProjectFileCompatibility.DynamicXMLNode" .)

Hi Mogikanin,
Thank you verymuch for your effort to improve dotspatial quality.
the .Mwprj is the file included in mapwindow 4.8.6, which is located in default location C:\Program Files\MapWindow\Sample Projects\World after installing mapwindow.
I also attach the file here.

Hi, yes i see that such file type not exists inside dialog selection filter. But did you tried to load .ecw file with "All files" filter? Any luck in this? It should work as we have gdal_ECW_JP2ECW.dll (ecw gdal plugin) inside gdal plugins folder. But i can't test it now because i have no .ecw files.

I think you can't directly extract such attributes from jpg picture using dotspatial. The raster (bgd) is nice idea.

Just tried it with latest DemoMap application - .ecw can be loaded through menu "Add Layer..." with any of this filter: Images, GDAL-Images, All Supported Formats.
And drag to map also works fine.
If you want to add these files programmaticaly - call map.AddLayers() instead AddRasterLayer(), because in fact these files will be loaded into IImageData interface, not into IRaster.
